My name is Patrick Toifl, I'm a digital artist with roots in pencil-drawings!My gallery mostly contains digital portraits done in Photoshop using the Airbrush-tool and a Wacom-tablet. I also try to get back into traditional media, so every now and then I will post a pencil-drawing or a watercolor-painting!
My works are not vexels or vectors! All is painted with my Wacom-pen from scratch. Yes, I often use photo-references, but I never just used a Photoshop-filter to alter a photo! And no, I do NOT just paint over the photos! What would be the point of that?!
I joined dA in the year 2005 - but did not post much in nearly 2 years until I came back in Sep 2007 and that's when I took it seriously and posted my works on a regular basis! You can at least expect one new work a month!
