Hi, my name is Patrick Toifl, I'm a digital artist with roots in pencil-drawings!

My gallery mostly contains digital portraits done in Photoshop using the Airbrush-tool and a Wacom-tablet. I also try to get back into traditional media, so every now and then I will post a pencil-drawing or a watercolor-painting!

My works are not vexels or vectors! All is painted with my Wacom-pen from scratch. Yes, I often use photo-references, but I never just used a Photoshop-filter to alter a photo! And no, I do NOT just paint over the photos! What would be the point of that?!

I joined dA in the year 2005 - but did not post much in nearly 2 years until I came back in Sep 2007 and that's when I took it seriously and posted my works on a regular basis!

You can expect 2-3 works per month!

you are amazing! you have got to post a tutorial some time! your painting are so bright! btw what kinds of wacom do you use and where is the airbrush tool in photoshop? i didn't know there was a airbrush tool.
