Just a quick and dirty one ... I am still trying to get back into painting. Have been absent for too long :) So forgive me the rushed feeling to it!

I grew up watching the classic Star Trek Episodes on TV, and later moved on to the Next Generation but I always loved the classic crew more, so I had high hopes and also a lot of fear when I first heard that JJ Abrams would make the next movie. I had even more fear when I learned he wanted ro reboot the classic characters.

But what can I say - I just LOVED the movie. Awesome cast, amazing special-effects and just a thrill-ride and a lot of fun! Can't wait for the next two films :)

And to show how much I liked Zachary "Sylar" Quinto as Spock I wanted to make this fan-art. And of course it had to feature the lens-flare-effect! :)
